The food choices were great and the owner was there on top of things. Service could've been better as our waiter was all over the place. Definitely a place to try again.

Food: initially came here with my college/work friend because my boss had recommended this place for brunch/lunch specifically. He was not wrong haha, we definitely enjoyed the food here, croque madame was cheesy, savory, and buttery, while french toast assorted plate let us taste all the delicious pieces of various menu. My boss did say the apple pie was especially good, so willing to come back for that next time! Price: every dish averages around $15, sometimes a little less to $13 and sometimes a little more to $18, but all reasonable prices and not too expensive Ambiance: small french bakery/cafe vibe, which we loved, not too many tables inside, but we had no trouble finding a spot on a weekday lunch time, great place to get food and catch up with friends Service: no issues with getting our food and water served, people seemed to be friendly Parking: there were a few rows of parking outside, we had no trouble finding a spot close by since it was a weekday

Delicious! Lots of food, I couldn't finish it. It was all delightful, the iced latte, the breakfast plates, the almond croissant! It felt like a touch of France with the atmosphere and I would venture here again the next time I'm in Palm Springs. Service is good too, very friendly and accomodating.

service, Jose' was wonderful. the food was amazing, the Chef, is welcoming and produces many dishes not typically found in PS. try one of the breakfast samplers, $18-$19. just a few indoor tables, outdoor in Season on The Plaza is lovely. this place took me back to Paris. Bill Kates PS local.

I accidentally found L'Atelier Cafe for Mother's Day brunch, just took a chance as it was an unknown to me. I loved the rustic neighborhood cafe style and the food was top notch! The quiche is over the top, with several selections, for first timers I would choose one of the platters, amazing, a couple of bites of many things. The service was attentive but not too much. The prices are astonishing! You can get a large piece of quiche and a side green salad for 15.00. I've been back two times since Mother's Day. Judith Towne

Came in in a Sunday afternoon for brunch around 12pm. . First of all parking is busy so I suggest finding parking in the free downtown parking structure which is 2 blocks away. Also shaded inside so you car is nice and cool in the three digit weather. . When I walked to the resto, without knowing there was a waiting line. I went straight to the cash register and asked for a table of one. The server jose who was jolly and the best welcoming host, found a table for me right away. I skipped the waiting and was so glad it saved me time to go shopping some more in the area. . I ordered the smoke salmon croissant egg Benedict, this was so good. The croissant was flaky. The hollandaise sauce was perfect. The poach egg was leaky too, the way I love it. This dish stood out to me and would definitely go back in a heart beat. . I also add on a French onion soup, the presentation is wow. The soup wasn't salty which was perfect. The soup was savory. The cheese was cheesy with lots of string pull through out enjoying the soup. This soup was yum. Loved the baguette inside the soup which was still crunchy. . Overall it's a busy cafe. I mean there is lots of waiting during prime time. I suggest coming here early or table of one would be quicker for most places. I was glad to come here and experience good french food in psp! I was blown away with the food. Hope this review helps and thanks for reading. Have a yelptastic day!

Lovely French cafe. Rustic. Casual service. My husband ordered his breakfast and the server asked "Anything else i can bring y'all?" I said yes, I'd like to have breakfast! Never experienced that before! I had the most perfect poached eggs I've ever had, and drained too, which a lot of places don't do. Side of yummy prosciutto, and an almond croissant. Croissant was pretty dense. Good cappuccino. Husband had Gruyère and Jamon de Paris scramble-best he's ever had! With a plain croissant, lighter than the almond. And a nice side salad. I would go back here!

Busy little French cafe in the La Plaza area. We stopped in for breakfast as soon as it opened and there were already customers inside. There are a few tables inside and many more outside. We ordered coffee and a vegetable croissant with avocado and a quiche Lorraine. Charming ambience, French on the radio, friendly service. The quiche was about four inches high, with a lovely crust. Warm fluffy scrambled eggs with spinach, tomato and cheese filled the flaky, crisp croissant. This was a hearty, quick and satisfying breakfast option. I heard many customers ordering almond croissants and pastries for takeaway. Au revoir -- I will stop back the next time I am in Palm Springs.

Nestled in the heart of Palm Springs, my visit to L'Atelier was an enchanting culinary journey reminiscent of a charming Parisian café. From the moment I stepped inside, the cozy ambiance, with its rustic décor and the scent of freshly baked bread, transported me to the streets of France. The culinary adventure began with the charcuterie board, a work of art in itself. A symphony of flavors and textures, it featured an array of perfectly cured meats, artisanal cheeses, pickles, olives, and a crusty baguette. Each bite was a harmonious blend of savory and salty notes, leaving my taste buds dancing with delight. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients were evident in every element of this charcuterie masterpiece. Next up was the Croque Madame, a quintessential French classic, and L'Atelier certainly did justice to it. The sandwich arrived with a beautifully golden-brown crust, concealing a rich and creamy béchamel sauce that enveloped the tender ham and perfectly fried egg. The first bite was a revelation of flavors, with the silky béchamel balancing the saltiness of the ham, all topped off by the velvety yolk of the egg. It was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece, and the accompanying salad with a light dressing added a refreshing touch. Service was impeccable. The staff exuded a genuine passion for French cuisine, offering recommendations and wine pairings that enhanced the overall experience. The warm and attentive service truly added to the charm of this café. Our server was honestly the most attentive and personable, yet didn't hover. This place is a hidden gem for anyone seeking an authentic French dining experience.
